Philae lands safely!

Quite an achievement to be able to land on a rough active dumbell shaped Churyumov–Gerasimenko comet with an escape velocity of 1m/s and an acceleration due to gravity of 10−3 m/s2!!

Many congratulations to European Space Agency and Rosetta team!

ESA has the actual 3D model file at http://blogs.esa.int/rosetta/2014/10/03/measuring-comet-67pc-g/

In case you want to order a 3D printed model for yourself, you can order it at http://www.sculpteo.com/en/print/
